Why? If you ask Peter, he will tell you that there is nothing better or more professionally rewarding than being able to assist somebody financially – he believes that people of all walks of life should be able to access affordable financial advice so they can prepare for the future.
How Peter delivers his service to his clients is crucial to his success. He is down to earth and personable. He listens. He is honest and truthful in his recommendations. He conducts reviews with his clients when their situations change and is there to support his clients year after year. In Peter’s opinion, “there is no point being an adviser unless you are there for the entire journey with the client, not just at the beginning”.
Peter strongly believes that financial advice should not just be affordable but also accessible. His clients can choose a service package where they have the ability for him to meet them at their home, their workplace or their business. He knows that giving his clients that service option is important to them and can be difference between their being prepared or not being prepared for the future.
Personally…
If you ask Peter to describe himself personally, he will say “I’m a fairly simple bloke with a fairly simple life” and leave it at that. That would be inadequate to describe some of his own personal achievements, which he likes to downplay. He was an Australian Under 19’s rugby union representative and played First Grade rugby union at the University of Queensland for many years. He then continued his involvement with University as their Co-Manager of Premier Grade for 12 straight years. Peter is also an avid rugby league supporter and now enjoys watching his own two sons play a variety of sports, with his wife Jackie.
